In fact, block cylinder linear is "Oval" shape instead of common knowing "Circle" shape that seen by human's eyes. When the engine is running, block cylinder linear will become "Circle" when it is heated. Therefore, piston plays an important role for the overall performance of this movement

A common mistake of users when installing block cylinder is, they thought piston fits to liner is good but actually it's not. When they both too tight, during moving the piston rings will damage the wall of linear and caused it wear faster.

A good cylinder blocks like OE is made by durable materials and they must went thru strict quality checking. A GOOD cylinder blocks should fit in a perfect situation (not tight not loose) when users are installing it.
